Keukenhof
Open in 2026: 19 March to 10 May, daily from 08:00 to 19:00.
Keukenhof is the ultimate spring day out in the Netherlands: a 32-hectare park filled with around 7 million spring-flowering bulbs, including 800 varieties of tulips. It feels like walking through a living tulip catalogue, with sweeping flower beds, themed gardens, and indoor flower shows.
Plan for 3 to 5 hours: Enough time to wander, take photos, and enjoy the pavilions without rushing. For a calmer visit, go before 10:30 or after 16:00, and if you can, pick Monday to Wednesday.
Keukenhof sell out early, book in advance! Scroll down on this page to see when it’s extra busy, incl. Dutch public holidays and school vacations. Tickets sell out most often on weekends and on sunny days in mid April. They can also sell out around major events like the Flower Parade day, so booking ahead is strongly recommended.
